REGIONAL COOPERATION IN IMPLEMENTING OPERATIONS BY DRUG CONTROLLED DELIVERY METHOD
During the period from 05 to 09 December 2016, CARICC hosted the Second Regional Workshop on “Promotion of Regional Cooperation in Implementing Operations by Controlled Delivery Method and Activities of Joint Investigation Teams” under the auspices of the UNODC Regional Programme for Afghanistan and Neighboring Countries.

LIAISON OFFICER WITH CARICC HAS BEEN AWARDED THE TITLE OF A POLICE MAJOR-GENERAL
Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with CARICC, Police Colonel, Rustam Aziz MIRALIZODA, has been awarded the title of Police Major-General on the 10th of November 2016, in honor of the Tajik Police Day. A relevant Decree was signed by Emomali RAKHMON, President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
CARICC staff and liaison officers of the competent authorities of the CARICC member-states sincerely congratulate Mr. Rustam Aziz MIRALIZODA with the awarding of such a high rank, and wish him further success in his professional activities.
Expert Meeting for law enforcement agencies analysts
During the period from 29 to 30 November 2016, as part of the Project TD/RER/F23 “The Law Enforcement Systems for the Collection, Analysis, and Intelligence Exchange, and any Other Information in the Fight Against Drugs” in conjunction with the Project TD/RER/H22 «Establishment of CARICC”, an expert meeting for analysts of law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan was held in CARICC facilities.

Training for the staff of analytical units of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic
During the period from 14 to 18 November 2016, at the initiative of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic under the auspices of UNODC XAC/K22 – “Countering the Trafficking of Afghan Opiates via the Northern Route through the Enhancement of Key Checkpoints (CHP) and the Establishment of Border Liaison Offices (BLOs)”, CARICC officers organized and held the second stage of trainings for the staff of the analytical units of KR SBS in the practical application of designated software in the facilities of the Center of Excellence of the KR SBS, in Osh (Kyrgyz Republic).
THE DELEGATION OF THE SUPREME PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF SOUTH KOREA VISITED CARICC
On the 18th of November 2016, delegation of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office of South Korea led by Mr. Minpyu Park, CEO of Office of Violent Crimes of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office, visited CARICC.
