CARICC – IS A STANDING INTERGOVERNMENTAL BODY TO COORDINATE EFFORTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TRANSNATIONAL DRUG-RELATED CRIME

TRAINING FOR OFFICERS OF STATE BORDER SERVICE OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

During the period from June 27 to July 01, 2016, at the initiative of the State Border Service (SBS) of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh, Kyrgyz Republic, a training was organized and conducted in the Center for Professional Advancement facilities of the KR SBS, with the participation of instructors among from the officers of the CARICC Information and Analytical Division. The training aimed at acquiring skills to operate a designated software “I2 Analyst Notebook”6 and «I2 iBase» (Basic Course) by the officers of the KR SBS.

The training was organized with the support of the UNODC Project XAC/K22 – “Counteracting Opiates Trafficking from Afghanistan through the Northern Route by Enhancing Key Checkpoints and the Establishment of Border Liaison Offices”.
