CARICC – IS A STANDING INTERGOVERNMENTAL BODY TO COORDINATE EFFORTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TRANSNATIONAL DRUG-RELATED CRIME

Attendance of CARICC IAD officer in the inter-regional training seminar


As part of the UNODC Regional Programme for Afghanistan and Neighboring Countries, the Global Programme on “Strengthening Capacities of States to Prevent and Combat Serious Offenses and Crimes of a Transnational Nature”, and the Global Programme against Cybercrime, an officer of CARICC Information and Analytical Division attended a three-day inter-regional training seminar for law enforcement officers and prosecutors on “Identification and Investigation of Crimes in the field of Information Technology”, from 20 to 22 September 2016, in Almaty.


Each expert delivered a presentation in their areas, addressing various issues to combat and detect cybercrime, the problems of electronic and digital evidences to date. The participants of the seminar highlighted the challenges to combat cyber crime in their countries in their respective presentations.
