CARICC – IS A STANDING INTERGOVERNMENTAL BODY TO COORDINATE EFFORTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TRANSNATIONAL DRUG-RELATED CRIME

REGIONAL COOPERATION IN IMPLEMENTING OPERATIONS BY DRUG CONTROLLED DELIVERY METHOD

During the period from 05 to 09 December 2016, CARICC hosted the Second Regional Workshop on “Promotion of Regional Cooperation in Implementing Operations by Controlled Delivery Method and Activities of Joint Investigation Teams” under the auspices of the UNODC Regional Programme for Afghanistan and Neighboring Countries.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the competent authorities of Central Asia, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan, as well as CARICC. During this workshop, participants reviewed the legal framework of respective states to organize and implement controlled deliveries and presented specific examples of implemented operations.
